Dentsply Sirona named one of America’s Greenest Companies 2024

Dentsply Sirona has proudly been recognized by Newsweek’s Ranking as one of “America's Greenest Companies 2024.” The ranking identified the leading 300 U.S. companies based on their environmental sustainability efforts.

Charlotte, N.C., January 31, 2024. Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, was recognized as one of America’s Greenest Companies 2024 by American news magazine Newsweek and market data research firm Plant-A Insights Group. The award recognizes Dentsply Sirona’s impact and commitment to driving sustainability as a fundamental part of its strategy to transform dentistry and improve oral health globally.

Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group selected the top 300 companies in collaboration with GIST Impact, a leading impact data and analytics provider, by conducting research and analysis of public sustainability data from organizations with a minimum market capitalization of 5 billion dollars in the US.

Criteria for the evaluation and scoring of America’s Greenest Companies included over 25 parameters in four main categories: greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water usage, waste generation, and commitment and disclosures. The criteria aimed to reflect the multidimensional nature of environmental impacts on the planet.
