Radolfzell/GERMANY, 01/02/2024 - Prof. Dr Uwe Böhm, District Managing Director of the IHK Hochrhein-Bodensee, presented the IHK's congratulations with a certificate on the 75th anniversary of the medical technology manufacturer.
In his laudatory speech, Prof. Dr Böhm paid tribute to the experience of Managing Director Gerhard Daiger and his courage in always daring to try something new. This has brought him to the point where he is today. The many awards are proof of the entrepreneur's success, said Böhm.
"The path to success is always individual and the decisive step in this direction often leads over rough, steep paths. Only those who manage to master these cliffs will ultimately reach the top of the mountain. You have managed to achieve extraordinary business success over a long period of time. It's not just hard work, but also the courage to take risks. This deserves special praise and equally high recognition," said Professor Böhm.
Following the laudatory speech and presentation of the certificate, the management invited guests to coffee and cake, and later to dinner. After the champagne reception, Gerhard Daiger honoured the dedication and commitment of the employees in his detailed speech. He also praised the commitment of the new employees, the joy, the high level of motivation and the reliability they showed at their new workplaces. Gerhard Daiger was surprised at how much gratitude he received, including in the form of gifts, for his support, appreciation and job security.
Gerhard Daiger described how Dr Walser Dental has implemented 431 innovations since he took over in 1999. At the beginning of his new role in 1999, Dr Walser Dental had customers from 33 countries; today it has customers from 129 countries. The celebrations continued into the late hours of the evening in an exuberant and cheerful atmosphere.
